Scan any landing page you admire, have Claude Code build a reusable design theme from it, and apply that theme to your own site. Two free skills, three steps, no design experience required. This lesson gives you the exact prompt template and the full install walkthrough.

What You'll Learn

  • The exact prompt template (copy-paste ready)
  • How to install the 2 required Claude skills
  • How to build a reusable design theme from any site
  • How to apply the theme to your own landing pages

Why Your Website Looks Like AI Slop

You've tried the website builders. Wix, Squarespace, WordPress with a $49 theme. The result looks like every other website on the internet, because it is. You're all using the same templates.

Meanwhile, your competitors with $15K budgets have designers building custom landing pages that actually look good. Clean layouts. Bold typography. The kind of website that makes people trust you before they read a single word.

Here's the shortcut: you can scan any website you admire, have Claude Code build a reusable design theme from it, and then apply that theme to your own landing pages. Two free skills. Three steps. Your site looks like a $50K build.

Install The 2 Skills

This workflow uses two Claude Code skills that work together. Install both from GitHub before starting.

Skill 1: UI/UX Pro Max

The UI/UX Pro Max skill tells Claude Code how to build production-grade web interfaces. It handles layout systems, responsive design, typography scales, color palettes, and component architecture. Without this skill, Claude builds functional but generic-looking pages. With it, the output looks like a professional designer built it.

git clone https://github.com/nextlevelbuilder/ui-ux-pro-max-skill ~/.claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max-skill

Skill 2: Nano Banana

Nano Banana generates custom images and graphics using AI. When your design theme needs hero images, icons, illustrations, or background graphics, Claude Code calls Nano Banana to create them on the fly instead of using placeholder images. The result is a complete page with original visuals, not stock photos.

Why two skills? UI/UX Pro Max handles the code and layout. Nano Banana handles the visuals. Together they cover the full scope of what a web designer does: structure AND aesthetics. Without both, you'd get a well-coded page with missing images, or nice images in a mediocre layout.

The 3-Step Process

  1. Download the 2 skills from GitHub. Install both the UI/UX Pro Max skill (github.com/nextlevelbuilder/ui-ux-pro-max-skill) and Nano Banana into Claude Code. Each one is a single command. Once installed, they're available in every Claude Code session automatically.
  2. Find a site you love and paste the prompt. Open Claude Code, give it a link to the website you want to steal from, and paste the prompt template below. Claude scans the site and builds a reusable design theme, not just a copy of one page, but a full style system you can apply to anything.
  3. Apply the theme to your landing page. Give Claude your existing landing page link and tell it to rebuild it using the new design theme. Claude redesigns your entire page with the stolen design language: layout, spacing, typography, colors, animations, while keeping your content and copy intact.

The Prompt Template

After installing both skills, open Claude Code and paste this exact prompt along with the URL of the website you want to steal from.

Scan this landing page and match the layout, the spacing, the typography, animation patterns, and the color palette. Use the /frontend-design skill + Tailwind CSS to build a fully responsive site theme template that I can apply to other landing pages so that I make my landing pages look like this site but with my content and copy. In the theme template please put a rule to use nano-banana to generate images / graphics if you don't have any.

Theme vs copy: this prompt builds a reusable THEME, not a one-off copy. The theme captures the design language (spacing ratios, font pairings, color relationships, animation patterns) so you can apply it to multiple pages. Steal once, use everywhere.

Applying The Theme

Once Claude builds the theme template, apply it to your existing page with this follow-up prompt:

Here's my current landing page: [YOUR LANDING PAGE URL]

Rebuild it using the design theme you just created. Keep all my existing content and copy. Just apply the new design language, layout, and styling.

Customize And Iterate

The first rebuild gets you 80% there. Use these follow-up prompts to dial it in.

Swap brand colors:

Update the theme to use my brand colors:
Primary: [YOUR HEX CODE]
Secondary: [YOUR HEX CODE]
Keep the same layout and spacing ratios.

Generate custom images: if the theme has placeholder images or you want better visuals, Claude will use Nano Banana automatically. Just say: "Generate original hero images and section graphics that match the design theme."

Add new sections:

Add a testimonials section after the hero with 3 customer quotes. Match the design theme's typography and spacing system.

Steal from multiple sites: you don't have to steal from just one website. Scan the hero section style from one site, the pricing layout from another, and the footer from a third. Tell Claude to merge the best elements into one cohesive theme. Cherry-pick the best of the internet.

Sites Worth Stealing From

These websites are consistently cited as the best-designed landing pages on the internet. Use them as your starting point.

  • stripe.com: iconic gradients, world-class typography, animated hero sections
  • linear.app: the gold standard for dark-mode SaaS design. Clean, bold, modern.
  • vercel.com: black/white with purple accents, developer-focused but stunning
  • betterstack.com: dark UI, competitor pricing comparison, clean dev aesthetic
  • figma.com: design-first experience, clean layout, recognizable brand
