What Is Claude Code?

Claude Code is an AI tool by Anthropic that builds real software from plain English descriptions. You tell it what you want (a website, an app, an automation) and it writes all the code, creates all the files, and shows you the working result. No programming knowledge required.

Step 1: Create Your Free Account

Go to claude.ai and sign up with your email address. The account is free to create and gives you access to Claude's AI assistant immediately.

Step 2: Download Claude Code

From the Claude website, download the Claude Code desktop app. It installs like any normal application: one click on Mac or Windows. No terminal commands, no package managers, no scary black screen.
