Build A UGC Ad Agent With Claude And Arcads

You're connecting Claude to Arcads so Claude can write your ad scripts, pick the best AI actors, and build all the videos for you. Write one product brief. Claude makes 10 hyper realistic UGC ads. After a few minutes your videos are ready with different hooks, avatars, and angles.

What You Need

• Claude Code or Claude Pro ($20/month)
• Arcads account with API access (register link below)
• About 20 minutes for first-time setup

Step 1: Register For Arcads

Go to Arcads and create your account: https://www.arcads.ai

Sign up, upgrade to a plan with API access, then go to Settings > Public API > Generate Credentials. Copy your Client ID, Client Secret, and Authorization header. Save these somewhere safe, you'll need them in the next step.

Step 2: Set Up Your Ad Agent

Open Claude Code and paste your API credentials along with this prompt. It tells Claude to create a new Ad Agent project folder with everything set up:

Create a new project folder called VibeAds on my Desktop with subfolders: briefs,
scripts, and videos.

Save my Arcads API credentials:
Client ID: [your-client-id]
Client Secret: [your-client-secret]
Auth: Basic [your-authorization]

Then create a CLAUDE.md file that tells you how to be my ad agent. You are a senior
performance marketer. You write UGC ad scripts that are 18-20 seconds long with this
structure:
- Hook: 0-3 seconds
- Setup: 3-8 seconds
- Product reveal: 8-15 seconds
- Proof: 15-18 seconds
- CTA: 18-20 seconds

You use the Arcads API at https://external-api.arcads.ai to generate videos.
Talking Actors endpoint: POST /v1/scripts then POST /v1/scripts/{id}/generate
Only submit scripts scoring 9.5/10 or higher on quality.

Confirm when the project is set up.

Step 3: Write Your Product Brief

Tell Claude about your product and customer. The more specific you are, the better the scripts:

Create a product brief in the briefs folder:

Product: [name, what it does, price, URL]
Customer: [who they are, biggest frustration, what they've tried, dream result]
Real customer language: [copy exact quotes from reviews, Reddit, DMs]
What makes us different: [1-3 specific things]
How many ads: 10
Split: 4 cold audience, 3 warm, 3 retargeting

Step 4: Run The Agent

Paste these prompts one at a time. Wait for each to finish.

Prompt 1: confirm the brief

Read the product brief and CLAUDE.md. Tell me: who is the target customer, top 3
pain points, recommended hook angles, and your plan for the 10 scripts. Don't write
scripts yet.

Prompt 2: generate scripts

The plan looks great. Write all 10 ad scripts following the timing structure. Write
in natural spoken language, short sentences, how a real person talks. Score each on
quality. Only keep scripts scoring 9.5 or above. Save as scripts.json in the scripts
folder.

Prompt 3: pick actors and build ads

Open arcads.ai in the browser. Browse the actors and find the best 3-4 that match
our customer. Assign each script to the best actor. Then submit everything through
the Arcads API. Save all the videos to the videos folder. Tell me when they're done.

After this prompt, Claude opens Arcads, picks the actors, submits everything through the API, and downloads the finished videos. After a few minutes your ads are ready.

Step 5: Test Your Ads

1. Upload all 10 videos as separate ads in one campaign.
2. Run with a small budget for 3 days.
3. Kill the ones that aren't working.
4. Scale the winners.
5. Repeat with new briefs every week.
